I knew from the beginning that I wanted to use ribbon on the middle piece, I just didn't know what I wanted to make the theme of the card. When I was looking for my red ribbon to do a Twilight card, I saw the Paw Print ribbon I had that I bought shortly after we got a new puppy a few months ago :) His name is Scooby-Doo and he is a Miniature Dachshund :) SO I decided to use that instead and used a paper pack that I got at the Scrapbook Expo to go a long with it. I love making 4x4 cards, so that is the size I made for this sketch.

Halloween Spooktacular Banners for Special Needs Kids Blog Hop Sept. 1st-3rd

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the Halloween Spooktacular Banners for Special Needs Kids Blog Hop Sept. 1st-3rd! This is my 2nd year participating in this Halloween Hop! I have also enjoyed making banners throughout this last year for this special group of kids!!! I am honored to be part of this hop with some very special ladies!

Welcome to the annual Halloween Spooktacular Banner Hop for Special Needs Children!
I am delighted to join with more than 3 dozen other women who have each made at least one Halloween-themed banner that will be donated to hang in the room of a medically-fragile child at Pediatric Specialty Care in Pennsylvania.
Our Hop Hostess (Ellen CardMonkey Jarvis) works at PSC’s Bucks County site as Admissions Coordinator. The Banner Hop starts there, so please be sure to circle back to the beginning to see all of the terrific banners have been made for these very special children.

Ellen shared this information with us about Pediatric Specialty Care: “PSC is a very special place where children stay either long- or short-term, typically after hospitalization. Most are dependent on ventilators and other technology to survive. Some have been born too early or with genetic diseases or birth injuries. Other children suffer injuries later in life that require constant care later, including brain injuries from trauma or loss of oxygen (from choking, suffocation or drowning) and spinal cord injuries.

These children and their families -- and PSC’s staff -- will be thrilled to receive the Halloween banners, to help brighten the season when their friends and siblings will be out trick-or-treating.”


This Hop is two days (Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2), and on each day you will see different banners. Be sure to visit on both days to see the truly inspirational work of these generous bloggers, and leave some love (comments) on as many sites as you can – because if you do, you can up your chances to win some Spooktacular blog candy!

I have been loving tulle lately and knew I wanted to use it for my banner. I decided to use some dark purple paper and run it through my crimper to use as the background then I used white tulle on top of that and the black letters I ran through the cuttlebug to give it some cute spots! I then tied the banner together and then added pink bows using the fabulous bow maker from 3 Girl Jam.

Back to School

Hi Everyone!

Today is the last day to enter the monthly challenge over at Jaded Blossom. The theme was "School".
Ok so I actually made this like last week but we are working on our bathroom so I have been super busy and haven't been able to post it yet!!! So I had to go online today so I could enter before it was too late!

I have seen some things at stores where they have used a clear plastic drink container to put things in.
So I wanted to put some supplies in it and add some paper to the inside and give it to my son's teacher on the first day of school. I also made a little bag of "kisses" for the teacher too!

I went to the Scrapbook Expo last month and got a bunch of Imaginisce "Geek Is Chic" supplies :) I think they are SO CUTE! It all started when I saw the Milk Carton with the glasses in the Paper Crafts magazine and then had to order that and a few other items to go with it! :)

I bought a box of Papermate pens last year for like 25 cents and filled the cup up with them they fit perfectly :) I put some tissue paper at the top to look like whip cream and a paper straw I got from Target, but they also sell them at Jaded Blossom as well :) I tied a small tulle bow around the straw as well. I stamped "Have a Super Day" on the back of the double sided paper I used for this project. Then I cut out some of the supplies from the paper and put them on there as well. I LOVE this paper because it is thick and glossy :)

For the "kisses" I used the "Hello" stamp from Jaded Blossoms Friendly Kisses. I also cut out some pieces from the same paper and pop dotted them on the top. I only used about a half a sheet for the whole project :)

Baby Zebra Part 2

Hi Everyone!

Here is Baby Zebra Part 2 !

SO I needed to make a card right, so I figured I would make it match the "Kisses" treats! I am loving the way I made everything coordinated. Next will be the t-shirt and matching bag... Hopefully I will be able to work on those SOON!

The card I made is for the 3 Girl JAM  Beautiful Bow link up party that ends today! I love how I was able to make the bow the same as I did for the "kisses" just a little bit bigger! I love how I am able to make AWESOME bows in a few different sizes with the 3 Girl JAM Bow Maker !

I used my favorite font from Cricut! Quarter Note :) for the baby's name :)

Baby Zebra Part 1 :)

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted anything in FOREVER.... I am so far behind on everything! I have hardly got any crafting done lately!

I saw the INCREDIBLE new releases from Jaded Blossom and I had to have some! :) They are there new "Kisses" line and they are so adorable! SO I HAD  to work on some projects because I wanted to use my new stamps :)

They also have a challenge that ends today, so I wanted to make a treat to go along with a baby gift, that I am LONG overdue on finishing!!!

So here is part one of the gift :)

She has a jungle themed nursery so I decided to use the zebra print kiss stamp and combind it with some from the Baby Kisses set.

I also got the new Bow Maker from 3 Girl JAM and had to use it as well! I LOVE IT! I totally suck at tying bows, so this is the best thing ever and SO easy to use!!!
