Halloween Kisses

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share with you the project my daughter Rebecca and I made for the Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge! The theme was to make a Halloween treat. I found the PERFECT container a couple of months ago at Walmart. I saw some Spiderman Aqua balls that are filled with flavored water (they taste awful!). I got them for my kids but only one of them liked them. I knew it would be perfect for Halloween treats since it looks like a potion bottle. I cut open a door in the back to fill it full of kisses and some crinkle paper. Then taped it shut with packing tape. I used the Jaded Blossoms Halloween Kisses for this project. I stamped the witches hat, "Hocus Pocus", and "a wee bit wicked" ( I had to choose the wicked one because my husband is always singing that song "Popular" from Wicked the Musical and he ALWAYS gets it stuck in my head....) My daughter Rebecca helped me with everything!!! It looks so much better in person but I am still waiting to get my camera back from the manufacturer so I could only take a picture with my phone :(

Here is a pic before I took everything off the bottle:

Here is the bottle all finish:

Supplies:

Halloween Candies Stamps-Jaded Blossom
Aqua Ball
Orange and black cardstock
Black Tulle

Master Crafter Challenge!!!

Hi Everyone!

Today I am linking up my entry in the "Master Crafter Challenge" over at www.pinkcricut.com.

I am very lucky to be part of the 100 people participating in this awesome challenge!

Here is the info:

Scissor Mouse sponsored by Westcott , DCWV Rockstar mat stack sponsored by DCWV Deals, Cotton Bag Sponsored by State line Bag Co. , 1/2 sheet of Rhinestones sponsored by Queen & Co., Sentiment stamp sponsored by Pink by Design, Assorted Buttons.

We all received  a variation of the items in the picture and could add anything else to our project as well!

My word stamp I received was "Always".

I used all my items and them some of my own as well!
Voting will begin on October 7, 2012 at 12:01 am and last thru the 11th at 12:02 am CST,
You can only vote once for your favorite project per ip address

As soon as I saw the Rockstar mat stack I knew I wanted to use my new Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge to make a card. I love the little rockstar bear! She is SO cute. Her outfit reminded me of the 80's so I want to use Neon paper like in the 80's. :) I had a "You Rock" stamp and wanted to use it with my "always" stamp so I cut it apart to rearrange it better on my stamp block. I also knew I had a "You Rock" stamp from Jaded Blossom so I wanted to put them on the bottom of my Hershey Kisses to put in my little bag that came in the kit.I also cut out some of the background paper to put on the bottom of the kisses as well. I painted my buttons black with nail polish to match everything else and added the rhinestones to the center of them.

Here is my project:

    Sketch Blog Hop

    Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the Sketch Blog Hop. Everyone has had so much fun doing these it's turned into a regular event!

The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! You should have arrived from Zenita's Blog and if you just happened along the hop, you can go back to the start at www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com

    Enjoy the hop!

Here is the Sketch we all used:

I knew from the beginning that I wanted to use ribbon on the middle piece, I just didn't know what I wanted to make the theme of the card. When I was looking for my red ribbon to do a Twilight card, I saw the Paw Print ribbon I had that I bought shortly after we got a new puppy a few months ago :) His name is Scooby-Doo and he is a Miniature Dachshund :) SO I decided to use that instead and used a paper pack that I got at the Scrapbook Expo to go a long with it. I love making 4x4 cards, so that is the size I made for this sketch.
