Now on to my project....

I like making personalized projects for people, like cards, shirts or other projects. For this project I wanted to make my Secret Santa a charm bracelet. I had a lot of fun making a charm bracelet recently and wanted to put her name on it and add some cute chandeliers all from the Baby Boutique Cartridge for the Imagine. I love being able to print fun projects on the Imagine. So I couldn't show you the whole bracelet because that would give away the surprise of who I have, so I will show you one of the chandeliers and one of the letters of the person's name :)

Here is how to make them. I first picked the images I wanted to use and put them on my mat in the "Cricut Craft Room" I love it! You can do a lot of stuff in the new Cricut Craft Room :) I added some color to one of the charms and layered a chandelier on top. Then I printed and cut them out using Ink Jet Shrinky Dink paper. Then I punched a hole at the top before heating them with my heat gun. (it works better than in the oven) I just hold it now on the corner with tweezers. Then once cooled which happens very quickly... I then coat them with clear nail polish to seal them. Then I add the charms to jump rings and attach them to a chain and add a lobster clasp to the end of the chain. It was so fun to make and it would be easy to add more charms to it later :)

I love sparkles, so please leave a comment below to win 2 bottles of Stickles. You will have until December 10th to enter to win.

  9. Lisa, this is so pretty! I love doing shrink art. I found out about it about a year ago. I love to watch the stuff shrink before my eyes with my heat gun. I put mine in a shoebox so I don't lose the item. Great job! tfs Tami
