Valentine Card Hop For Cancer Patients February 4-5 Day 2

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the Valentine Card Hop for Cancer Patients!

I want to thank our hostess Mindy letting me participate in this wonderful Blog Hop!

If you came from Doris' Blog, then you are in the right place! If you would like to start at the beginning of this hop, then head over to Mindy's Blog!

Thanks for stopping by for Day 2:) Everyone in this hop is making Valentine's Cards to send to St. Judes to be given to the patients! If you would like to send Valentine's Day card as well, here is the address we will be sending ours to.

Attn: Vilma Carnahan
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
595 North Parkway
Memphis, TN 38105

I think this is a wonderful idea :) When I was younger I started reading books by Lurlene McDaniels who wrote about kids with cancer or other life changing diseases. SO I have always had a soft spot for sick kids. I have always tried to learn more about cancer and other childhood diseases. When I was old enough I volunteered at a local hospital and helped out on the Oncology floor during one summer.

For todays card I made Minnie Mouse, who doesn't love Disney :) I have always loved Disney since I was little and probably will forever! I LOVE the way this card turned out :) I should have used my Imagine to print the polka dot paper but didn't feel like hooking it up, so I just used my Polka Dot stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps.

Supplies:
Cricut
ATG gun
Stampin' Dimensionals
Zig Two Way glue pen
Stamp- from Michaels
Diamond Stickles
Mickey and Friends Cartridge
Cardstock
Distress Ink (Black Soot) and Blender
LargePolka Dot Stamp-Peachy Keen Stamps
StazOn Jet Black Ink

Please leave a comment below to win 2 bottles of Stickles. One winner will be chosen using Random.org. You will have until February 10th to enter.

Thanks for stopping by!

For my Valentine's cards I wanted to make Mickey and Minnie, so Today you will see Mickey and tomorrow Minnie. I choose this die cut of Mickey and Pluto because my little boy loves Mickey and Pluto and can't wait to go to Mickey and Pluto's house whenever he finally gets to go to Disneyland :) I am sure someone at St. Judes will love Mickey and Pluto as much as my son does :)

Rebecca's Baby Shower Blog Hop January 27th-28th Day 2

Hi Everyone!

Welcome To Rebecca's Baby Shower Blog hop!!!

Thanks for coming back for Day 2!

I would like to thank Lisa for letting me join in this hop!

If you came from Sam's Blog then you are in the right place! If you would like to start at the beginning head over to Lisa 's Blog !

Welcome to Lisa’s daughter, Rebecca’s, Baby Shower! What a great idea to have a baby shower between your blogging friends. Lisa has asked that we make a two-page layout which she will present to her daughter. Rebecca is having a boy and her son’s name will be Maxwell Thaddeus. There is a fantastic line-up to check out all of our layouts which I hope you enjoy!!!
This will be Lisa's very first Grandchild!!!
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

I knew I needed to participate in this wonderful hop because my name is also Lisa, and I also have a daughter named Rebecca! How cool is that. :) Maybe several years down the road I will also be having a hop for my daughter :) She is only 10 years old right now, so she has a while :)

Please leave a comment below to enter to win 2 bottles of stickles! You will have until February 3rd to Enter. One winner will be chosen using random.org

For my project I decided to make a Baby Winnie the Pooh layout, I have been wanting to use these characters ever since I got the cartridge a year ago :) I have used the font on this cartridge but not the characters until now. I usually would have used a lighter blue and more babyish color for my layout, but since Pooh and Tigger are bright colors, it looked better this way!

Here is the other half of the layout and also a picture of the pages side by side :)

Supplies:

Blue, Green, Black, Orange, White, Cream, Red, Golden Yellow, Brown Cardstock
Black Soot Distress Ink and Blender
Diamond and Pink Stickles
Liquid Pearls
Zig Two way pen
ATG gun
Cricut Expression
Pooh and Friends Cartridge and Pooh Font Cartridge

Thanks for stopping by!

Glitter & Bling Blog Hop January 21st-22nd Day 2

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back to the Glitter & Bling Blog Hop for Day 2!

Be sure to check out all the wonderful projects projects on this super fun hop!

If you came from Lynne K's Blog  then you are in the right place!

If you would like to start at the beginning head to Gill's Blog!

Now on to my Day 2 project!

Pam really loves shoes! So I wanted to make her a pair to go with her purse card! This shoe was the main reason why I bought the Princess Party Event Cartridge! I thought it was SUPER CUTE!!!  It was also easy to make :) I used this awesome paper they sell at Target, the only problem is it doesn't photograph well :(  I made the shoe as big as it would go and cut it out. At first I thought I would be spending a lot of time scoring everything.. but after scoring the first line I realized that I didn't need to score it, and worked great just folding on the premarked lines... :) and then I glued a few of the spots and used my sharpie to color in the heart on the shoe. I decided I wanted to make the shoe be able to hold candy. SO since it is an open toed shoe I used part of the packaging that the Cricut cartridges come in and cut a piece of the corner that would fit in the shoe to help hold the candy in. ( The shoes look WAY cuter in person..)

Here are a few pictures of the shoes with and without the chocolates in them.

Supplies:

Imagine Machine
Princess Party Even Cartridge
Black Sharpie
Paper- from Target
3-In-1 Advanced Craft Glue
Plastic corner from the Cricut Cartridge wrapper

Also please leave a comment below to enter to win 2 Bottles of Stickles!

Now on to my Day 1 project!

I signed up for this blog hop months ago and knew exactly who I wanted to make my projects for! My Brother's Girlfriend Pam! I helped my brother out last year and make a card for him to give to her. So since I knew I would be participating in this hop I asked him if I could make her card again this year. When I think of "Sparkly" things I think of her :) SO today I will be showing you the card I made her and come back tomorrow and you will see the Sparkly shoes I made her to put her favorite chocolates in!

Happy Birthday Pam!
I hope you like your purse and shoes I made :)

I love the way this purse card came out! It took me several times to get it the way I liked it. First it was bigger and had Stickles on it but I wasn't satisfied I liked the way it looked so I tried a few other things and finally decided I like this one best!

I printed the purse using the Imagine and the "Better Together" cartridge.  I then used the "Tie the Knot" cartridge to make the "P" on the front of the purse card. I love the way this "P" looks, very classy! I added some silver package trim as the purse handle and then I decided to color the top part black and add a row of rhinestones with my I-Rock. I also outlined it in black and put "Happy Birthday" on the inside with matching paper.

Supplies:

Imagine Machine
Better Together and Tie The Knot Cartridges
Black Sharpie
Holiday Trimmings for the handle
White cardstock
I-Rock and Rhinestones
Glue Dots

Also please leave a comment below to enter to win 2 Bottles of Stickles!
You will have until Thursday January 26th to Enter!

(1 winner will be chosen using Random.org)

I am the last stop on the hop for today, so thanks for stopping by and I will see you back tomorrow for Day 2.
