I want to thank Ellen for inviting me to be part of this very special hop!!!

It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do for my banner. Then a couple of weeks ago I was looking at stuff online and saw a birth announcement with a Caterpillar on it. I thought it would be cool to do a Caterpillar for this hop since it is a Love Bug Hop. Of course I wanted to incorporate hearts as well :) I wanted to do a banner for a girl and for a boy. So I made two adorable caterpillars :) It was really fun to make and I got input from my sons and daughters, I have 2 of each  :) of course my Birthday Girl who turns two today didn't have much input for me :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA :)

I used the Create A Critter Cartridge to make the Caterpillar head, I put it on the bottom of the page on my gypsy so it wouldn't cut out the rest of the body. Then I used George Cartridge for the circle and the tiny rectangles for where the ribbon goes. I used Paper Doll Dress up and Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridges for the legs that I welded to the circle and for the cute shoes :) and of course everything is better with sparkles, so I added some Stickles :) The kids and I couldn't decided which embossed hearts we liked best so we used both :) A heart one and a Dot one.

Here are a few different pictures of both the banners :)

Martha Stewart Border Punch
Liquid Pearls -Ranger Ink
Kich N Bleus Digi

This image is so adorable :) I made the background using the Imagine. I finally got the Black and White Pattern cartridge !!! It hasn't been available for months...but they now have it available as a Digital Cartridge at cricut.com :) SO since I love polka dots I made a black and white polka dot square and put a pink square behind it using the Cricut Craft Room. Then added Christmas Morning and had it match the background and then printed it as one layer. Then I used a scallop circle punch to punch out the image and added stampin' dimensionals to the back of the image and applied it to the background layer.

Supplies:
Cricut Craft Room
Cricut Imagine
White cardstock
Scallop Circle Punch-Stampin' Up
Stampin' Dimensionals
Stampin' Up markers

Now on to my project....

I like making personalized projects for people, like cards, shirts or other projects. For this project I wanted to make my Secret Santa a charm bracelet. I had a lot of fun making a charm bracelet recently and wanted to put her name on it and add some cute chandeliers all from the Baby Boutique Cartridge for the Imagine. I love being able to print fun projects on the Imagine. So I couldn't show you the whole bracelet because that would give away the surprise of who I have, so I will show you one of the chandeliers and one of the letters of the person's name :)

Here is how to make them. I first picked the images I wanted to use and put them on my mat in the "Cricut Craft Room" I love it! You can do a lot of stuff in the new Cricut Craft Room :) I added some color to one of the charms and layered a chandelier on top. Then I printed and cut them out using Ink Jet Shrinky Dink paper. Then I punched a hole at the top before heating them with my heat gun. (it works better than in the oven) I just hold it now on the corner with tweezers. Then once cooled which happens very quickly... I then coat them with clear nail polish to seal them. Then I add the charms to jump rings and attach them to a chain and add a lobster clasp to the end of the chain. It was so fun to make and it would be easy to add more charms to it later :)

I love sparkles, so please leave a comment below to win 2 bottles of Stickles. You will have until December 10th to enter to win.

My daughter (she is 10) and I LOVE the Twilight movies... of course we both have yet to read the books :( We have them, but have not read them except for the first few chapters of the 1st book. But I am going to try to start reading them again. We weren't Twilight fans from the beginning but last year we finally watched Twilight and LOVED IT! So then we watched  New Moon and then couldn't wait for Eclipse! Luckily we only had to wait about 2 months before it came out! Now it feels weird having to wait an entire year for Breaking Dawn to come out!!!! We SO can't wait to see it :)

We are TOTALLY TEAM EDWARD!!!!!!
